  • Would consist of a device that would be positioned up against the urethra
  • Would be less intrusive than a tampon as it would not be inserted into the vagina
  • The opposite end would be attached to a tube that would lead to a biodegradable, expandable, IV-style collection bag
  • This holding container would clip, hang, or sit on the floor below the bed
  • It would effectively funnel the urine to the collection bag
  • It would serve as a viable alternative to a catheter or adult diaper
  • Would measure less than 1 foot high, approximately 3 to 4 feet long, and 6 to 8 inches wide
